I was interested in renting a house from them while we start looking into buying our own home and we did the application asked for 3 times rent clearly over qualified for this house with good credit scores we wanted to do it the right way and include my teen that just turned 18 and finished high school 3 months ago we put him on the application and because it asked that all 18 year Old must pay for an application as well we don't want to lie and show him this is what it is in life when u become an adult they didnt proceed with the application because he needed a goverment issued ID and a credit score of 680 what teenager at 18 has a credit score of 680 or better so it doesn't matter if u make a million dollars a month they won't rent to u because ur teenager doesn't have credit

Broadpoint real estate agency was responsible for the listing and sale of my mother’s home after my mother went into assisted living. The agent was thorough, always quick to answer questions and provided regular progress reports on all phases from pre listing, preparing the home for sale, staging, advertising and listing through the offers, contract, and final closure. She even went above the call of her role by actively locating, over-seeing, and communicating with third party vendors as the home was being made ready for sale. Ultimately, she negotiated well to get an above asking price. All of this was done with kindness, an emphasis on ethics, details and in my family’s best interest as well as fairness to the process and others involved. I would highly recommend Broadpoint. As an aside, I have met two other agents at Broadpoint over the last two years. Each represent unique gifts, personalities and diversity. Thanks Broadpoint staff, especially our agent, Bethany, for making this whole process easy!

Broadpoint Properties is a fantastic company that handles all things real estate, short sales, and property management. They are extremely professional and ethical. I recently saw a post about a racist individual that had previously worked for Broadpoint in the past. I believe that she was employed there over 10 years ago, and had the owners known this at the time, she wouldn't have stuck around long. The owners are kind people with love for all individuals and would never allow that kind of behavior.

Broadpoint Properties currently conducts property management services for me and has helped me buy and sell at least 5 homes over the years. They are very honest and professional. They collect the rent and handle all the maintenance coordination for all of the tenants. While real estate sales and property management seem to be very stressful, they seem to do and say all the right things so that everything goes very smoothly. We purchased our home with Eder Contreras in March of last year after trying for months before with a different realtor without success. He was extremely knowledgeable of the Escondido area and had a good grasp on the market which dictated our initial offer price. Our offer was accepted first try with helpful tips from Eder. He was helpful and professional throughout the home buying process. Also, this guy always looks great, never caught him in the same suit twice!After our house closed, Eder continued to be a great help when it came to refinancing advice. Over all a great experience.

As an investor, I've been involved with around 350 real estate transactions. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the great. I've worked closely with Eric Contreras on Javier Zavala's team and I can honestly say they are “the great”. I’m fortunate enough to work with them on the purchase side as a buyer and as a seller as well, so I got to see how they operate on both sides. They got me top dollar for my house! I had the pleasure to work with Eder to purchase and sell my house in Escondido. He did an amazing job helping me with all the paperwork and walking though the process of purchasing and selling a house. If you are a first time home buyer, an experience home buyer or and invers I highly recommend Broadpoint properties. If you are an investor Melissa and Rachel are an amazing team that managed my rental property with no issues. I couldn't have asked for a better all around team that helped me purchase, manage and sell my property.

I have used Broadpoint Properties to buy 2 houses now. They are amazing. They would answer my calls day and night. They made everything very smooth. I sold a house and bought a new one in 1 month which is very fast. I want to personally thank them for their hard work and dedication. Signed with Broadpoint a few months ago to manage my rental properties. I had complaints with my previous management from my tenants due to delays in addressing their issues. The broadpoint team is responsive, reliable on following up and providing detailed reports including balance sheets I can access anytime. It was a pleasure working with Rachel Tourtillotte and Melissa Zavala. Communication was alway open and clear from the transition from owner to Broadpoint, to repairs, and from the time our lease ended. Broadpoint has managed our property for two years so far while we are living overseas. They charge less than other companies we’ve used but provide superior service. They quickly found a quality tenant and have done an excellent job of meeting our tenant’s needs while also ensuring that our property is properly maintained. We receive timely and professional communication when required, but Broadpoint very capably handles all coordination for repairs, pest treatment, and other routine matters. I highly recommend this excellent company. You will sleep well knowing that your property is in good hands.

I'm not sure where to start about how amazing Eder Contreras and the Broadpoint Properties team is! Eder has been a tremendous help on helping my parents sell their house. Not only he got their house appraised and sold $40k over asking price, he was also there every single steps of the way to make the process go as smooth as possible. Eder explains everything to us so we have a very firm grasped of the process.With my parents' language barrier and lack of knowledge in technology, Eder was willing and happily drive over to their house every single time to explain all the paperworks and show them how to fill them out correctly. He was so patient with them. Not only that, Eder also helped us out while we were remodeling and when my parents were moving. I mean, what other realtor do you know that would go above and beyond like this? I worked with a few before Eder, and they were pale in comparison.If you're looking for a realtor, look no further. Eder is not only the best, he's also very detailed oriented and willing to go above and beyond. I will always recommend him to everyone I know and he's the only realtor I will use in the future!

Superb professionalism without loosing the human touch. Friendly and efficient service. Very observant for the intricacies and fine details of the property in question, which can become extremely important. Tolerance and understanding of human nature as well as having a heart for animals. I highly recommend the expert service of this wonderful and always reliable institution. The offices are also very inviting and exquisitely designed. Closed a 1.5M deal in Encinitas with Javier Zavala of Broadpoint Properties. He was supposed to help me cover rent-back costs for my buyer, we did a "handshake" deal with Javier promising to cover a very small amount. After the deal he took off and avoided payment. Bad company representation. I will never do another transaction with Javier Zavala or Broadpoint Properties. Buyer beware--get everything from this company in writing and signed. Do no take a verbal confirmation.Javier was the agent who suggested the “handshake deal” not me. I wanted everything in writing but he refused. Do not try to brush off your shady dealings outside of escrow on me. I was mislead by Javier Zavala.

We had a great experience with Broadpoint Properties and the professional team that works at this place. They helped us buy not only our home but also a couple of investment units in the Escondido area. They communicated with us extensively and provided valuable advice and information while listening to our needs. They were incredibly energetic and enthusiastic meeting multiple times at various locations (besides their beautiful, state-of-art facility on 2nd Ave in Escondido) to show us a great array of purchasing options. They were always easy-going, open, and honest, and never pushy as I've heard some brokers can be. Two of the 3 purchases arranged with their help happened to be short sale transactions and to be honest the Broadpoint Properties staff is very very knowledgeable in this area. They even help other real estate brokers throughout the nation with short sale negotiations. Also, they were a very good fit for us because they also manage an inhouse property management operation that is very affordable. I would definitely recommend Broadpoint Properties and their affiliated businesses Short Sale Expeditor and their Property Management division. Congratulations!

Since she appeared to be the good Queen of short sale know how I reached out to her at Broadpoint Properties for assistance. Phew!! I was so glad I found her, she has the contacts and know how to close all sales and her help was invaluable.Wish I had come in contact with her sooner is all I can say. Sellers would be smart to reach out to her and her staff for all home sales and especially short sales.
