Through Broadpoint Properties, Transaction 911, and Short Sale Expeditor™, Melissa Zavala works with real estate agents throughout the nation by providing coaching, mentoring, training, and administrative services. Her clients range from individual agents to large brokerage houses.
No matter the client’s personal and professional goals, all are looking for a way to increase their business and their market share, and Melissa helps them to do just that.
Prior to founding Broadpoint Properties with her husband, Melissa was a broker associate for a national franchise and demonstrated excellence by working outside of the box: closing hundreds of short sale transactions and developing what is now known as the Short Sale Expeditor® program.
Melissa did not begin her career in real estate. In fact, she began as a high school teacher, and then a college professor.
Later, she transitioned into the field of educational publishing. Most recently, she has been able to use her teaching and organizational skills in order to fill in the gaps and help real estate agents to do what they do best–list and sell property.
Melissa is the author of The Essential Daily Planner for Real Estate: Success in 10 Minutes a Day, Been There, Done That: 10 Agent Success Principles from a Short Sale Insider and The Pipeline Planner. She is also a columnist for Agent Genius, The Real Daily, and Trulia.
She lives in Carlsbad with her husband, Javier. In Melissa’s spare time, she loves to practice yoga, take exotic vacations, visit with her two grown sons, and take long walks with her dog.
