The community of Fire Mountain in Oceanside is located in North San Diego County, just 35 miles north of the city of San Diego. Fire Mountain is well known for its proximity to local beaches, its temperate climate, and because it is near both the Camp Pendleton Military Base and the San Luis Rey Mission.

The community of Fire Mountain Oceanside is located east of Interstate 5 and north of Highway 78. It is a hop, skip and a jump from the beach and many Fire Mountain homes have ocean or partial ocean views.

Homes in Fire Mountain are both single and multiple-story. The architecture of these homes includes bungalow, craftsman or ranch style, among others and homes there can range in size from small two bedroom properties to larger multi-bedroom luxury homes.
